This site allows you to file a police report with the City Of Alameda Police Department. After completing the entire process you will receive an actual report id and you will be able to print the report for your records. A valid form of identification and an email address are required to complete the report.
This site will let you report any of the following types of incidents:
Harassing Phone Calls
Numerous unsolicited phone calls of an annoying, harassing or threatening nature.
Example: Ongoing immediate hang-ups, obscene language, etc. with no known suspects.
Identity Theft
The act of someone other than you, using your personal information, to obtain credit, goods or services in your name.
Example: Someone opens a credit card account in your name, etc.
Lost Property
When property is missing or lost.
Example: Property that is missing, leaving items in restaurant, or missing from home.
Theft
Stealing of property (does not include auto thefts-must call 510 337-8340)
Example: Property that is missing or stolen and it is known that the property was stolen (not lost).
Theft from a Vehicle
Stealing property from an UNLOCKED motor vehicle.
Example: Stolen equipment or belongings taken from a vehicle which was NOT locked.
Vandalism
Willfully causing permanent damage or defacing public or private property.
Example: unwanted graffiti, knocking over a mail box, or throwing a rock through windows.
Vandalism to Vehicle
Intentionally causing damage or defacing a vehicle (does not include vehicle collisions call 510 337-8340).
Example: slashed tires or broken window to a car, truck, or motorcycle.
Vehicle Burglary
Stealing property from a LOCKED motor vehicle.
Example: Stolen equipment or belongings from a vehicle which was locked.

Incident Type
Select the incident type that matches the incident you wish to report.
 
Incident Location
Only incidents that occurred within the city limits can be reported. This includes interstate highways that pass through the city, unincorporated areas, other surrounding areas, and county locations.

Hint If you select an option like "Other" from any menu, give a full description of that choice in the description area of the "Incident Information" step.
