This site allows you to file a police report with the El Cajon Police Department. After completing the necessary information you will receive an actual report id and you will be able to print the report for your records. A valid form of identification and an email address are required to complete the report.
This site will let you report any of the following types of incidents:
Lost Passport
Passport lost and cannot be located.
Example: Your passport cannot be located.
Stolen License Plate
For reporting lost or stolen license plates
Example: lost or stolen front or rear plates
The act or an instance of stealing; larceny.
Example: Property that is missing or stolen and it is known that the property was stolen (not lost).
The act of changing, modifying or defacing public or private property.
Example: Knocking over mail box, throwing rock through windows, graffiti, etc.
Vehicle Burglary
Stealing property from a locked motor vehicle. If unlocked, make a theft report.
Example: Stolen Equipment or belongings from a locked vehicle. If unlocked or with open windows, make a theft report.
